The subculture I've chosen is College Athletics. The fieldsite I will be visiting is SIU. My sister goes to school there and is on the softball team. Also, her boyfriend also attends school there and is a graduate of Purdue, where he played on the football team. When I go to visit I expect to see the team at practice and on there off time. I want to get a feel for how college life differs for them than for non athletes. Also, I want to get a male's perspective on college sports, good and bad.

Sounds like a good topic. It will be interesting to see how much free time or study time when they have practices and games.
